After completion of undergraduate studies at Claremont McKenna College and Stanford University, Mr. Linebarger also completed his M.S. and M.B.A. degrees from Stanford. He began his career with Cummins in 1994 and was became the President and Chief Operating Officer of the company in 2008 after serving as Executive Vice President and President, Power Generation Business from 2003 to 2008 and as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer between 2000 and 2003. From 1998 to 2000, he was Vice President, Supply Chain Management after serving in various other positions at Cummins. Tom has been a director of Pactiv Corporation since 2005 and Harley-Davidson, Inc. since 2008.
