Mike initially assumed these roles on an interim basis soon after his election to the Integra Bank Corporation board of directors in April 2009 and subsequently assumed them permanently to help effectuate the Bank’s turnaround. He is also the chairman of Patriot Investments, LLC, a company he founded in 2002 which invests in and provides management and financial advisory services to businesses, real estate projects and early stage ventures.

Alley previously served as president & chief executive officer of Fifth Third Bank, Central Indiana, an affiliate of Fifth Third Bancorp. While leading Fifth Third Bank from 1989 to 2002, Alley significantly increased the financial institution’s presence in central and southeastern Indiana to more than $4.8 billion in assets and 74 banking centers through acquisitions and de novo growth.

Alley joined Fifth Third Bancorp in 1985 as vice president and city executive for Dayton, Ohio. Prior to joining the bank, he worked for Bank of America in Austin, Texas, and for KPMG, LLC in Cincinnati, Ohio. Alley graduated magna cum laude from Indiana State University and is a certified public accountant.

Alley remains very active in civic and community activities and currently serves on numerous boards including Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America, Community Physicians of Indiana, The Indiana Heart Hospital, Indiana State University, Indianapolis Zoological Society, Evansville Economic Development Corporation, Evansville Regional Business Committee, and the United Way of Central Indiana. He also is on several corporate boards including AAA Hoosier Motor Club, HMC Insurance Agency, Inc., Hoosier Motor Mutual Insurance Co., Integra Bank Corporation and Leaf Partners, LLC.

Alley is a member of American Institute of CPA’s, Indiana Society of CPA’s, and Financial Executives International.

Mr. Carroll joined Integra in 2002 and served as Risk Manager until his appointment in 2005 to Controller and Principal Accounting Officer. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2009. Carroll previously served as Vice President-Risk Manager at United Fidelity Bank from 2001 to 2002 and as a Certified Public Accountant at Olive LLP from 1988 to 2001.

Carroll graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a BS in Accounting. He is a graduate of Leadership Evansville and is actively involved and serves on the boards of the Historic Newburgh Kiwanis Club, the Newburgh Youth Soccer League, the University of Southern Indiana Accounting Circle and the Evansville Industrial Foundation.
